Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a motor yacht like Lady Amanda, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price (€13,750 - €22,000), making the charter cost €68,750 to €77,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew Information
Captain: Ashley Oberholzer
Captain - Ashley Oberholzer
Ashley Oberholzer is M/Y Lady Amanda's bilingual Anglo/Saxon Captain.
Ashley is British born and was raised in France on his parents 20m charter boat "Champagne Charlie" for 13 years off the Riviera coast. Ashley has now accumulated a significant amount of yachting experience since his career debut in 2008, progressing from deckhand through to engineer, to now on the Captain’s seat.
Ashley has worked on boats ranging from 20m to 60m, covering most of the Mediterranean Sea. An expert Watersports Instructor and an avid explorer, his crew are his family and the sea is his home.
"The safety and training of the crew on Lady Amanda are only matched by the amount of fun and games offered to the guests on-board!"
DECKHAND - Matthew Venon
Matthew is M/Y Lady Amanda’s brand new 2025 Deckhand.
Matthew grew up in Belfast two steps away from the busy harbour until the age of fifteen when he moved to the South of France to finish his schooling, making him fluent in French and giving him local knowledge of the area. Both helped develop a keen interest in the seafaring world.
Matt started working in the hospitality industry full time from 18 years of age until 26 after one mission serving onboard a static charter yacht made him want to be a full-time yachtsman, he spent the winter getting certified and jumped directly into the hard winter works in local South of France yards, which caught Captain Ashley’s eye in search for his new Deck crew.
Matt shows a pleasant disposition and has a very hard-working attitude which is exactly the right fit for Lady Amanda’s busy summer schedule, and he is ready to take guests for an unforgettably fun time aboard a yacht in the MED.
In Matt’s words “Be safe, look good and have fun”
CHEF - Johane Garone
Johane has returned to Lady Amanda to complete his third year onboard.
Johane was born into a restaurant-owning family in New Caledonia.
Starting very young, helping around in the family business gave Johane an instinct for cooking and managing the restauration environment. This came in handy after starting to make his own way in the culinary world. Starting to perfect his skills on land at first and then gathering knowledge whilst travelling the globe all to be an impressive addition to any size of yacht.
From Mediterranean to Pacific exotic dishes nothing is out of his reach.
Johane is the best Chef in the Mediterranean Sea… Guaranteed.
“Bon Appetit”
CHIEF STEW - Alice Symington
Alice is Lady Amanda’s retuning Chief Stewardess.
Born and raised in England, Alice entered the working life early minding children at first
before moving into hospice care for the elderly. Her patience and caring nature have helped make a seamless transition into the service industry. She initially worked as a chalet operative in 2023, providing a similar level of service and professionalism found in Yachting.
During her time in Val D’Isère ski resort, she oversaw managing all
breakfast set ups as well as light healthy cooked brunches, daily cleaning and refreshments of cabins of multiple properties.
Alice led the charge last and cleared a successful 16 weeks of back-to-back charters in 2024 always leaving guests content and well taken care of.
Her bubbly personality and hardworking ethics made her the perfect interior lead for Lady Amanda’s 2025 charter team.
“Service with a smile”
STEW/DECK - Sarah- Jane SKaife
Sarah-Jane joined Lady Amanda for the 2025 Summer season as second Stew/Deck.
Sarah-Jane was born in Yorkshire. She grew up working in the family restaurant from an early age helping in the kitchen, with service and front of house. Doing this at the same time as acing her A Levels built her strong ethics and hardworking dynamic personality.
After this S-J immediately left her home country of the UK to come and join the yachting industry in 2024. Sarah-Jane joined a 28m Private/Charter Sunseeker as Sole Stew.
She oversaw all interior responsibilities and left the vessel with high praise from the Captain and Guests.
Sarah-Jane was recommended by our own Chief Stew Alice Symington as it just so happens that they are best friends. Captain Ashley saw a great opportunity to have two excellent friendly supportive Stews with experience onboard Lady Amanda.
Making sure the service onboard is incomparable to any yacht of its size.
“Champagne.”

Reviews
We are back in the US, with fond memories but already missing our time on Lady Amanda! We wanted to follow up with a sincere thank you, Ashley and Tina, for planning and putting the charter together to perfection. We had high expectations for this trip and our charter on Lady Amanda exceeded every one of them! Captain Ashley and his crew are nothing short of phenomenal. From Ashley always finding the best anchorage spot to jumping on the balloon blast for Colby and going above and beyond every day we can’t say enough good things. Athena is a truly amazing Chief Stew - she always anticipated our needs with professionalism and a smile. Her kindness and constant positive attitude made a big impact. We appreciated Lyndsey’s work in front of and behind the scenes - our cabins were always immaculate. Highlights from the Chef were breakfasts, Colby’s special dinners and his truffle crudités - those were a hit. And thanks to Dan (the unsung balloon blast hero) and Ashley for your coaching and patience as we constantly wore out the batteries enjoying every water toy to the max. Colby loved the crane swing and the slide. Fly boarding was a highlight and the hydrofoil was in high demand! Overall, we had an epic time, loved every minute, and can’t thank the crew enough! We hope to be back on Lady Amanda next summer in Spain if we can work that out!
